Sook leapt up joyfully, unable to calm herself (not that she actually was capable of it anyway…). She pointed toward the tree with her nose, exclaiming wildly, “They’re up there!” With that, she was trying to scrabble up the tree to reach them, but failed with a terrifying lack of grace. Now lying on her back, she looked up at the little demons with a furrowed brow. How’d she get up there the first time?
