| ... Random poem. Mostly inspired by music, the other bit inspired by the fact I had to do some kind of homework.
The nostalgic feeling, this is my home I did what was right instead of what I was told We frolicked and played, no rules to hone To leave this place is to take all my might To give the darkness and take the light To steal the joy and hand over the fright
The King's Meadow, this is my home They took me away, not to return My life was a nightmare, my memories churned The night worst of all, is finding the King, face down, down below A puddle of blood growing on the floor
Images flash, they feel just like poison Stinging my eyes, I was bound to cry My father was dead, I had nowhere to go All I knew is that I'd never return
Now here I am, in the King's Meadow Dad, I see him, we lie on the sodden No more worries, my life is gone I'm with my family, in the King's Meadow
Dad, he says he'd sad, but still glad I'm here with him No longer an eternity alone Whilst we were in the King's Meadow
The final rays of sun beat down as my life began to fade I would finally be back, with with the King, in the King's Meadow. | |
